Over the past 6 months we have seen that the introduction of new elearning authoring tools, which have left many content developers re-evaluating the way they design online courses.
With the availability of super-flexible tools such as Articulate Storyline, we are no longer limited by the constraints of previous generation PowerPoint to Flash tools, which kept many elearning courses to a linear slide-show experience. Now we have the ability to include user-interactivity, branching and much more, which means that a new paradigm of elearning design needs to be defined. Learners today are generally much more reliant on self-learning than ever before and the online courses we design today need to address these users, who are looking for the freedom of learning within the lessons and courses we provide them. We would love to hear how your organization is addressing these challenges and also invite you to a webinar session where we will discuss this topic in detail and share our thoughts and experiences. Enjoy the rest of your summer! Saul
